We are located in Southern Maryland and will meet the MINI-caravan at the start of Rt 218. Is there a time frame when it will be passing by? We can be at the corner or somewhere along 218 and just join in. We will have our radios tuned to the secret MINI-channel.

BTW- We belong to both DCMM and PhillyMini. Motor On - Safely.

Their Chardonnay Reserve is GREAT!!!

every events that happens with DCMM are on Saturdays.. well 90%+ of them. no wonder i can't make to any of them.... i bet i'm not the only one.. well have fun guys..

 

hrm... i'll be coming back from a roadtrip that weekend - the big question is if i should leave my mini friends in louisiana a day earlier to make this event, or spend an extra day motoring in the deep south? i can't decide!

either way, it's a mini adventure! i'll have to give this a good think before i commit to going, though.

We did not have good turn out for Sunday events in the past. We have had them before but stopped planning most because of feedback from the majority of members that Sundays were a "family day" Now this was a year ago. Things might have changed with our members. So - if you want to see some Sunday events, please write Dave at events@dcmetrominis.org and let him know. Or -- plan one yourself! I work Sundays.....so have fun!

A very good suggestion. I've done that for this thread and other upcoming events. Perhaps this is a good way to do it from now on?

 

Final headcount is due at the winery on Monday 7/17. I set the cutoff date for final reservations for Saturday 7/15. Please re-check your schedules and if you cannot attend, please reply that you cannot come. We have to make a commitment to the headcount and at $10 a person that can add up quick if RSVPs don't show.

The winery has a nice court yard for socializing after the tasting. Bring some snacks if you think you will be staying for a while

 

I don't see a lot of attendance from those folks. Daveoc can you enlighten?

 

We have the event posted on the Phillymini board. We had a big run scheduled for the weekend beg=fore in upstate PA. But due the recent flooding, the run had to be canceled. I hope that we will be able to get some more people interested now. As soon as I have a head count I will let Dave know.
