Large-scale map for B&B I, II
Large-scale map for B&B I, II
Anyone interested in owning THE original map(s) for the Backroads and Battlefields drives? It's quite large - meaning, it can't be readily rolled up, folded, and it won't fit in your shirt pocket.
Jen has seen it, and it is shown on the back of the brochure she gloriously put together for B&B II. I'm sure it will make someone's collection of DCMM memorabilia complete.
Let me know - there's only one!

and of course, we'll have to make it to the Golden Palace (for old time's sake and prosperity!)
[quote=A_C]When are you returning? (I suspect you've mentioned that here before, but being a 'newbie' I don't frequent all of the boards and messages listed...)

Sometime just after the New Year it is looking like now. Might be earlier depending on how we get on with getting goods over the border this week.

OK I have to ask:
Someone named "A C", who only has 4 posts (2 of which are lost to a previous iteration of NAM?), but joined back in March of 2004... is in possession of said map?
Who is this mystery person, and how can such an "inactive" person be so involved to have the map?
Curious minds must know!

I'm glad it will find itself in a good, safe, caring home.

(imagine the box being laid out flat, after carefully cutting the glued edges - that's how big it is.)

I don't know where in my house I would put something that large framed!!!
Edge - AC is a long time club member and MINI owner. I just love him to death even though he does not come out of the wordwork too often. He has planned three great drives for us with Tom and me.
