Hello - and anybody thinking of selling?

Greetings -

Been thinking about a MCS ever since they came out - I used to drive BMW 2002s in law school and shortly thereafter and the MCS always seemed like the modern iteration of the 2002.

I am re-arranging my fleet and selling off a Land Rover Disco and my Honda Insight to hopefully pick up a MCS in the next few weeks...I love the Honda - economy wise - but I need just a bit more fun in my 70 mile commute.

So - to cut to the chase, if anyone is thinking about selling in the shortish-medium term, please let me know: dave@drones-club.net. I am thinking 2003/4 MCS with 30K/under, or lower mile 2002 MCS. Not really interested in a loaded one. Mods are a plus.

Thanks. Hope to join you folks soon!

Dave

Mine is for sell. Pics in my gallery. Sitting right under 30K miles with plenty of mods. It does have all the packages, though, but no nav. Let me know if you want more info.

Ummm... how about a fairly loaded 2004 Cooper (non-S) with only 50,000 miles for a bargain price of 30K?

(That way, I can afford that '06 MCS w/ factory JCW I've been thinking about! )

Paul

You are a seasoned salesman and negotiator, I can see that. Will you take $33k?

Uh-oh... means you'd have to learn how to drive a manual, Paul...

Yeah, and given he wants a JCW S it means he should learn on one too....
which I guess means you get to teach him Edge.

Marina, you know I'll let you drive my car any time, that's not an issue. But I don't think you'll need any teaching from me!

The CD is great, thanks - I like about 2/3 of the songs!

How's the MCSa? I still haven't driven one yet, and I'm dying to get a decent drive in one, just to know how it feels. Of course I'll still keep my manual tranny.

My brother has a 2000 Honda Insight and absolutely loves it. He still tells me every now and then when someone has one to sell. He's part of a Yahoo Group or some other type of Insight group similar to this. Apparently, they have a lot of luck selling them on the lists, you might want to try that.

Also, I sold my prior car on Craig's List: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/car/ it's free and they will even host pictures for you.

Good luck!

Thanks...looked at the list, seems to be sort of moribund. My car is on craigslist right now

Probably buying this weekend.

Please call me at 703-393-7505 if you have a clean '03 or '04 with under 30K miles so I can think about it and maybe add it to the short list. Pics are a HUGE plus, dave@drones-club.net
