At the same web site, click on "3 tracks" to see what the Jefferson circuit looks like.
I also understand (from John Behe) that it is likely that the track gas pumps will be available; if so you can show up with a partial tank and top off with SUNOCO 100 racing fuel. John tells me that you can't believe how a Mini fed with 100 octane fuel runs

Last you were saying that you weren't going and there was quite a lot of emotion expressed.
Hmmm I might have to go to this event!
I'm going to have to talk to my dad. Anyone have a link or something about information on the event. And does anyone know if there is like an age requirement. (18 - Older or something) Hopefully not. Cause I didn't know about it until today talking to Mark W.
Though we won't be in attendance, I have a once-worn small full-face RCi helmet (SA2000, purchased new last year) that anyone with a clean head is welcome to borrow. Stay lice-free!!! PM if you wanna borrow this bad boy.
And, yes, it's my understanding that it will be the Jefferson Circuit. It can be a real bear, especially the hairpin near the paddock (last or first, depending on which direction you run).

I just signed up today. So you all know Gina told me that there will not be a Sunday event because of lack of participation, so all were combined into the Saturday event. Just thought you would like to know. Is anyone staying in the area on Friday night?

yeah, I didn't quite understand it Gina asked me what day I was interested in and then after I said Saturday and gave her my CC number she said by the way there is no sunday event due to lack of participation.
I signed up for Sunday. Wonder when they plan to tell me it is canceled? I will probably switch to Saturday if need be. I am surprised how little publicity they had.
Last year they used the Jefferson circuit and the skidpad. Helmets were required and provided. Gloves were not required. My 14YO stepson was welcome as a spectator and helper.

Still time to register
I just gave Gina my check this morning and Saturday is filling up, but there are still a ton of Sunday spots open. Give her a call on Monday as they are still accepting registrations. Also, be sure to get your inspection scheduled with Wayne or Dewayne in service. I am having mine done on 9/2 so the two week deadline is not all that strict.

If Sunday has been canceled, I would like to switch to Saturday. I've already paid for Sunday and given you all my information via email, and could have been told about the cancelation the same way.
Thanks,

While we all greatly appreciate your input & feedback here on the DCMM forum, I just wanted to ask - would you mind turning off Caps Lock? Typing in ALL CAPS just makes it sound like you're shouting... not to mention that it's much harder to read!
Just a polite request.
Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of hotels in Summit Point?
There are a number listed at 8 miles away, but they're not chains and so I was wondering if anyone has any first hand info...
Gina, is there a schedule available?
Is a spectator allowed?
