Since you all already down 'nnapolis way, why not stop in at the Bowie Baysox stadium and watch the autocross meet. This weekend's is sponsored by the National Capital Chapter of the BMWCCA. I know of at least two MINI's running, 1 very cool BRG Cooper yours truly () and 1 Cooper S, known to all in the club as MiniMiller (), both in the second of three heats. For more info and directions checkout the NCC-BMWCCA web site. Spectators are welcome and there is no admission charge. You just need to sign an insurance waiver.

Autocross is a great motor sport that allows you to test limits of your MINI and will show you just how poor of driver you really are.

Hope see some of you there.

Looking forward to checking out the Tate dealership and getting to know some of the DCMM'ers better. I've never made it down that way, but my wife and I are going sailing with some friends that afternoon just sount of Annapolis, so it is shaping up to be a perfect day (assuming the weather cooperates :smile

Sorry to say I won't be making it. Death in family has altered my plans for the weekend. Will be in IA from Friday to Sunday now.

I might come down...

I live very close to Krispy Kreme, so I guess I would need to bring some fresh hot doughnuts. And... my MINI just got updated for spring... racing stripes, all chrome interior, Panasport wheels with Yokohama AVS ES100s, and the MINI Fini sport link bike kit! So, I suppose it would be fun to make an appearance...

no need for the KKs, unless you prefer them over Amish-made crumb cakes, peach crumb bread and sticky buns...
Is there such a thing as too much refined sugar?

Thanks for the great turnout, guys! The weather was perfect after a truly nasty Friday. Mike, you could've come with KKs anyhow, ya know. Maybe next time, eh?

Sorry we missed it -- our boating plans were rescheduled, so we didn't make it to Annapolis until today. Still, what a great day for some open air motoring.

One of these days we'll make it out to Tate.

Help needed

This month breakfast at Tate is on Saturday 20th. I had volunteered to do it back in July (Katie is on vacation), however, on that day I have my SOLO lev. 3 class and I cannot be in Annapolis.

Can anyone else volunteer ?

Have we lost several pages of this thread?....
So, we need to have a member step forward and do this breakfast. You don't have to bring crumb cake, if you can't make it to the Amish Mkt.
I don't want to cancel this breakfast, folks.

No, we did not lose pages, I just used an old posting to make the announcement.
Sorry I cannot be there as promised but Brian G. just decided to change the date of the SOLO event. - Tell Paul to kick his butt on Sunday (as a revenge for messing up our club's plans)

IN ANY CASE : WE NEED SOMEONE TO DO THE BREAKFAST Come on People !!!!!!

don't let me start bitching ......

Normally you know that I would jump in and do this, but I can't predict my weekend schedules right now as a lot of my deadlines have started to fall on weekends. I would hate to say I can do it and have to bail out at the last minute.

Mark (Mdsbrain) has offered to do it. We just need to co-ordinate a few things. Thanks Mark!
