Haven't been to one of these get together at Tate before. What's the deal? Just meet, eat and talk? Any technical presentations or how to sessions? Don't mean to sound demanding but would like to know what to expect. I'm coming from quite a distance. Thanks.

 

um...er..no...it's strictly social and optional, but the crumb cake I bring is already legendary.
I don't know if that'll do it for ya, but it is an excuse to meet DC MetroMINIS members( we sponsor the breakfast) and see their rides, not to mention an excuse to motor.:smile:
DCMM will have organized tech days, time and place TBA.

On the bright side is that Thurs or Fri I will get my new MCSA So if you wanna come see my sick ride it will be there. I mean the car is already there at TATE it's just waiting parts to arrive.:smile:

P.S. Mdsbrain, "the soap" is for marking up your new car in a non-permanent fashion. Think "Just Married" type of work, but with a bit less emphasis on duct tape and stinky things on the manifolds :-p

I dont remeber if i have asked this before or not? But is the breakfest just for Dcmm memebers or not? I live like 10mins from the dealer and think it would be pretty cool to meet other Mini owners for Dc and Va

 

I think everyone is welcome. Bring friends and family. Maybe sell a MINI or 2
