Hello MINI Owners and Prospective MINI owners,
Join DC Metro MINIs and Tate MINI of Annapolis Saturday August 21 from 9:30 to 11 and every third Saturday of the month for breakfast in the showroom of Tate MINI.
Come out and meet the staff at Tate MINI, chat with other MINI owners, even meet DC Metro MINI club members (we don't bite!).
There's no charge, no reservations needed just come on down and say hi!

Huh?

Just curious why this isn't on the DC Metro MINI website. I've been a member for a year and this is the first I've heard of the monthly meeting... Kind of makes it hard to be active in club activities when you don't hear of them!

Well, since the breakfast in August will be the first one, you have missed nothing!

This is a new monthly thing; I believe it will be up on the website soon to let people know.

Look forward to seeing you there in August,
PB

Hasn't made it to the website only because the details were worked out this past Monday (8-2), about 45 minutes before I posted the annoucement....

Bruce does a great job on the website for us, but it takes me 10 minutes to get announcements out to our Yahoo groups and the boards. It takes a little longer for stuff to make it onto the website through no fault of his... So breaking news shows up here and on the Yahoo groups at least 24 hours or more before it appears on the website.

Hmmmm...that sounds fun. If I don't have an out of town guest the weekend of the 21st I'll come down.

How nice of Tate to sponsor something like that once a month!

Thanks for the lowdown. Good to know I haven't missed much. BTW, do you know if the club has a communications person? If not, I'm volunteering. I'd love to do a little email newsletter...

So it's looking like either Dunkin' Doughnuts (becuase I may need coffee long before I get to Tate), Krispy Kreme (good doughnuts, more on my way, but crappy coffee), or bagels of some sort (not sure where there is a bagel place on my way).

So the menu tomorrow will be based on A. Whether or not I need coffee as soon as I hit the road, B. What's on the way, and C. What I'm in the mood for...

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions....
