Can a MINI beat a GTO?

No, this isn't a thread about racing. It's merely a popularity contest and a fellow DCMM member needs your vote. I posted this in the MINI Talk thread earlier in the month and that put me into the lead, but the GTO has pulled even and we're in a dead heat with just two days to go. The prize isn't the important thing. I just don't think we should let a Pontiac beat our beloved MINIs.

Go here:

http://www.customervehiclegallery.c...461114176083793

Scroll down to my Pepper White MCS and cast your vote. I'm currently in tied for first with the GTO with 29% each. The contest runs through the end of the month and there is a new contest every month.

Thanks for supporting your fellow MINI enthusiast and DCMM member.

DC Votes for VA

John - I'm from DC (live in Georgetown) and I'm happy to help push you over the top. My own 2005 MCS (HyperBlue/White) is on order from Mini of Sterling and delivery is expected in late June. I'll see you out there!

Cary

After my vote, you were still ahead with 31% to 29%.

GTO ?? how bout a Z06 !!!

Sunday's autocross produced some interesting results. As a recovering Vette driver, there was a guy in my SS class last few years that would rather beat me than eat.
This past Sunday, I alerted the event chairs that they best call EMT as this guy missed my times by .5 and I was sure he'd slit his wrists ...

Havent' heard what happened .. Goes to show you - the S .. and even a non-S can put down the power where the Vette cannot. Keep an even speed and not lift .... vettes cannot do this ... I can vouch for this ..

CarNut, you got my vote. I looks like you are ahead by 2% right now. If you can hang in there today, you should have it.
