Bruce and Jen,

Thank you for coordinating this event. It was fun !! Weather not so perfect for our cabrios but it was nice to see a lot of people I had not seen since last summer events.

And I too want to thank Bruce, Jen and everyone else (just for coming and adding to the fun). That was awesome... I look forward to many more social events, both driving and non-driving (but especially driving!).

I have to say though that I always thought it odd to call it "brunch" when we were leaving at 10am and wouldn't eat for several hours after that. Despite the event notice and menu title, it's lunch to me!

It was great to catch up with those who I got to know at the Towson event, and also to meet some new faces. What a wonderful car AND a wonderful community, all at the same time. I couldn't be happier with my decision to join the fun when I placed the order.

WOOHOO! BRING ON THE DRAGON!

P.S. Katie, so sorry to hear of your story... I was asking around for where you were, since I wanted to meet with you about Fontana. Good luck on getting everything fixed in time!

Thanks Bruce and Jen! Amazing run, it was our first, and we had a blast. I would like to suggest we pass a few less McMansions on the next run, as I felt our bank account getting lighter everytime my wife saw one of their "communities."

Really enjoyed the "spirited" driving portions, buying an MCS was was one of the best purchases we ever made.

Thanks again

I can't agree with calling any of those homes "McMansions". However, it's either the height of pretension, or a local statute, to call every piece of property there a "farm" or somesuch..

Take care,
Matthew Z.

You may be right Matthewz, I guess they are not as close together as some of the Fairfax/McLean McMansions. So since geographically they are not as tight, yet there were quite a few... how about KFMs... that would make the "colonel" proud.

Plus I'm sure that the abbreviation will give creative license to many in our group.

Low Center REar Fog Light

Who was running this up ahead on me on Sunday. I have an 04 and I have laced the stock fogs to the rear brake lights. Was this an 05 car? Can it easily be fitted to an 04?

The 05's have the reverse light in the tail lamp cluster with the rear fog down in the bumper, that's opposite what's on the 04 and earlier cars...

There might be a way to retrofit this, but I suspect it would take a bit of work, as you'd need to replace your tail lamp cluster and then rewire your reverse lamp to go to the tail lamp cluster and wire the fog light down to the bumper...

Thanks Bruce and Jen

I never thought I could have that much fun in a car. But man that was a hoot. Great roads, even greater cars and wonderful people.

Thanks, for all the fantastic work.

Thanks for the Run

Absolutely a great time! We were part of the small group at the back of the pack after the winery -- couldn't tell RT from LT -- and really enjoyed the spirited driving catching up to Paul. See you next time. Thanks for the memories.

I had a great time too. Thanks Bruce for putting together the route and to Paul for helping with the testing and taking up the rear. I think this is the first time in a year I have not been the sweep car! Very strange feeling being in the middle of the pack.

It was nice to see old faces and meet new people. The bulldog was a great addition to the group.

DCMM is taking two weeks off to for the Dragon - but we will be back on May 21 with breakfast and Tate and stay tuned for a drive and drive-in movie during the last week of May.

That was you! Nice to put a name to the faces. Thanks for the assist, quite possibly the fastest "guide dogs" on record, I'd say..:-)

Cheers,
Matthew Z.
