I know it would be more fun as adults, but I can't remember that far back.

The Naked Mountain Vineyard is open every dat from 11 am to 5 pm and
offers wine tasting at $3.00 per person or wine by the glass at $5.00.
They also offer light foods, brie, cheeses, crackers, sausage, etc. for
$3.00 to $8.50 and soft drinks and bottled water for $.75 to $1.25. The
store sells wine, of course, for about $16-$18 per bottle, tee shirts
(Drink Naked!), glasses, re-corkers, etc.
They have outdoor covered picnic tables, a deck that accomodates about 50 people, indoor tables for about 40 people and a 25 foot bar.
The winery has a spectacular view of the mountains that I enjoyed first
hand today while tasting some excellent wines.
The owner is a car enthusiast, Porsches, I think.
I think it took us about 30 minutes to get there from the Orleans Market
and Resturant, but we we really enjoying the view and not moving very fast.
See http://www.nakedmtn.com/about.html for further information.
End of recon report.

Sorry forgot to mention this in the RSVP but I will have one Mini and two people. But probably neither of us will be sampling. Well not me but possibly my father but highly doubt it. Thanks again!

-Paul!
I am definitely coming now - 90% turned into 100%!
Also, this part was not announced beforehand, but a friend of mine (non MINI owner) has expressed interest in coming. He currently drives a 96 BMW 3-series, and is ready to change cars... I've been working on him!
So there may be 2 in my MINI - I hope that there's room at the restaurant and winery for him too, but if not, we understand

I feel completely stupid. I have been so distracted of late, that I can't remember if I RSVP'd or not. I hope I did, cuz we're coming. If the reastaurant can't accommodate us, no worries. Neither of us need to be drinking and driving, so if we can't get into the winery, that's cool too. If nothing else pans out, we'll just do the drive.
sorry, am not going to make it.
While I thought I'd make it because the NOPI event at Virginia Motorsports Park was cancelled due to rain; I recently learned of a Triumph-club sponsored concours "Britain on the Green" at Collingwood Masion on the Potomac.
I'd love to take a country drive with you'all... but I also want to see classic old Morris Minors and MINI 1100's !!

No, truly, thanks to Bruce for yet another outstanding Brunch run. I was a wee bit ticked for waiting so long for brunch -- but I gotta say, all was forgiven once I ate.
Hey, thanks to our table mates for putting up with the small child and the fun conversation. And does anyone know the LY MCSc with the cute 2 year old's Screen Name?? I love to schedule a play date (arranged marriage, whatever) sometime soon --- perhaps we can get Stallone the bulldog to join us
Can I say I love that dog? He's got a wonderful disposition and was a riot to watch fetch the stick.Hugs to all,
PB

- still RSVP for one?
