Hi :smile: I'll be at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington Va this Weekend. My son is in the Halo2 tourny, don't feel like sitting in the hotel all weekend and I'd like to go out and find some twisties . Anybody up for it?? I love a high spirited run, and don't know the roads down there.

Do you mean this weekend? Your post has February dates inthe field but I am pretty sure you mean this weekend.

I would love to go for a drive, but I am on my way out of town with my sister for a few days. Hopefully some folks will respond to you. We are a very friendly group who are fairly spontaneous.

If you can't find anyone to motor with I'd be happy to e mail you some routes we have done in the Metro area before that you could run out and try solo.

Saturday is out, helping with a Boy Scout camp out. I believe that Sunday is open, just have to check with "she who must be obeyed" and look into a couple of things. I will get back to you later this evening or early tomorrow.

What time does the 'tourney' start on Sunday and what time is supposed to end??? I can meet you at the hotel say around 10-10:30. Go out for a while, let it be your call. I know a couple of roads in the area that make you forget you are in the DC area I will PM you this afternoon with more definite info.....:smile:

 

10-10:30 is fine by me, doesn't really matter when WE finish as my son will be with friends and I have a hotel room. To answer your "SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED"-stuff her in the boot -only joking -also married and know how that works,easier to agree, have to pick and choose your fights and 99% of them aren't worth the fight.

 

Hey, Paddy, can I send Michael out with you boys? I think he might be in need of a little bonding time and I'd like a little mall time?????

Right now I'm shooting for 10:30am at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington Va. The hotel is located at 900 S. Orme Street, Arlington, VA. Of course this is still dependent on the weather as too how far we may actually travel.

Sunday: Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain. High around 35F. Winds light and variable. Chance of precip 70%. Snow accumulating 1 to 2 inches.

Stay tuned, I think it may change....

 

Err, I think that I'm gonna say that I'm going to stay in today! In Alexandria, there's a lovely mix of snow, sleet, and ice on the roads. I'm guessing though that's the story in the greater DC area.
