Sports Photographers Needed, Nova, DC and Md.

Love action photography, like sports, would like to add more $$$ on your MINI's mod budget?

I'm looking for photographers to join an award winning team to cover sports in Fairfax County, Va and Montgomery county, Md. area.

If you'd like to have fun, got good eyes, right gears, have some free time in the afternoon and would like to join our team of photographers, please contact me directly by post your interest here, by PM or email.

These are some sample images of the type of work I'm looking for.

I have also listed this in NAM's job offered section as well.

All it takes is being a sports lover with good eyes, right gears and some free time afterwork (as many day a week as you're comfortable to do).

An intensive action photography workshop can be arranged a needed.

I'd say for minimum that one should have (not required):
1 or 2 bodies of DSLR, for example NIKON D80 or better, Canon 40D or better.
Lense: 1 of the 70 - 200mm F2.8 or faster, 1 of the wide angle lense (17mm - 35mm range) fixed or zoom.

For our regular shooters, one should be able to get a set of Volk wheels in less than a month. (also depending on how good one is and how much time one has).

Btw, you're looking for another set of wheels.

I don't go by $/gb, more like per assignment.

If you're really interested, we can go more in detail during a coffee meet.

Wish I could be at the coffee meet. I think I would like to give it a try. Only have D70 (two) though . Maybe next year after the youngun is out of crew. I might have a D300 by then.

camera body is not the critical factor, Lenses are. Let me know if you're interested, I can set up a meet.

I haven't shown my face here lately. I've been extremely busy with work and lining some things up. Things have slowed down a little.

I was wondering how often you need someone to shot some photographs?

My work schedule varies week to week normally and I have college classes starting. I should have some free time in the afternoons and evening.

Also you think a Canon Digital Rebel with 18-55mm, 75-300mm, 50mm is suitable enough? I've used it for Soccer when I was an Assistant Coach and had some good photographs (I think).

The set up works fine for the day-time games, but will be very difficult for the low light situation (assuming the lenses is slower than f 2.8).

I have just accepted a photographer, but still have few games that will need someone to cover.

It interested, please pm or email me your contact information, we will go from there.

Thank you.
