What a great idea - If anyone has sporting equipment to use or share, please bring it along. I know I always keep a baseball glove in the boot "just in case." It also looks like they have a volleyball court at the park.

I won't make it for the run in the morning, but I will see you all at the afternoon picnic with my dachshund.

 

I will still be there. The others will not.

That sounds like the route I took on the way to the picnic. Since I was GPS-less, I trekked through like the rallye minis of yore. Are Minis only supposed to do stuff like that when carrying a load of gold bars?

My lesson of the day: just because there is a twisty line on google maps, does not mean you should drive it. Especially if google keeps trying to avoid it.

 

I was great, the food, the people, the run, the prices, etc. We have to make it once a year. Congratulations on everything, we had a blast.

 

Good times. Glenn, Bev, Laura, and Christine, you did a fantastic job of putting this together.

I had a little fun with the photos I took at the event. Now, this is my first attempt at stitching images together, and I did not plan on doing this when I snapped them so I'm sorry if I mangled anyone or their MINI in the process. Actually, the cars were generally alright since they didn't move.

I had a great time, and it was nice to see everyone... both familiar faces and new ones. My only regret was not having more time to chat with many of the folks I just met. Doggy duty definitely keeps you busy!

Bravo to the picnic committee for a wonderfully fun event!

 

We had a fantastic time! Brandy and I loved getting together with everybody for a great run and a fantastic picnic. Food was really good, the company was great, and the day couldn't have been any nicer.

BTW, Brandy says she would kill for one of the transformer remote control cars (guard your children!)

The day couldn't have gotten any better... well, except for the incident on the way in... :D
