All - Driver waivers are now attached to post #1. If you wish, you can print it out yourself and bring it along, already filled out. I'll also be bringing plenty of blank ones and pens, if you forget.

ALL DRIVERS MUST SIGN AND SUBMIT A WAIVER BEFORE DEPARTURE.

Also, don't forget that the driver's meeting is at 9:50am.

 

I was thinking I wasn't going to make it, but after stopping by MoS today, I'm going to wait and pull the header off once I can get a JCW catback to run while RMW is reworking things for me (since the RMW system uses non-stock mounting positions, I can't connect the stock header to the RMW catback)

 

D'oh! I'm going to be in DC tomorrow through Friday. Not only MINI-less but busy. Wish I could tag along!

In case I missed it in the previous posts, may I ask which wineries we were planning on heading to for each run?

Aha, I see that Naked Mountain Vineyard & Winery is planned for the 20th but what about tomorrow?

 

Is anybody else concerned with the weather forecast? If there's a sprinkle, i'll be there; but anything over that in the morning, or planned downpour later in the day....unfortunately you can count me out.

Well, they aren't sure they can accommodate us yet, since we're a large group (24 or 25 tasters) and they have a staffing issue after 1pm (as they get very busy)... but... assuming it all works out...

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with tomorrow's winery. They're still not sure they can accommodate us tomorrow... they might be able to make it work as a number of smaller groups instead of one large 25-person group sitting together.

The plan is that I will call them from the restaurant before we head over there. Even if they say they can't handle us, we'll do a "buzz the parking lot" move just to cause a scene. The guy laughed and thought that was a funny idea when I suggested we might do that.

 

Now..master weatherman....today was SUPPOSED to be 100% rain..look how that turned out! I have a SUNBURN!! I hope you are wrong for tomorrow too... Just for that, I have taken extra precaution...we put Soulfire back in storage...even though we were planning on taking her tomorrow!

I am on for the 20th. 2 for lunch, no wine for either. Sorry I can't make tomorrow - just too busy with work. (I have a major client that needs a checkup after the power gets cut 2x to the computer room).
