Yes, I'm going to need a fairly accurate count of actual people on both days, since I have to let the Griffin Restaurant & the corresponding winery know how many to expect.

After you RSVP, please post here if there are additional (non-RSVPed) people joining you. Also, please post if you don't want to join in wine tasting. The cost of wine tasting is around $4 to $5 per taster, depending on the winery (I'll get more solid numbers soon).

Clings? What does it take to organize them?
I will be attending on the 20th (and i've already put my name on the list) but i will definitely have a guest come with me (non-DCMM member, if that matters). We will probably both take part in the wine tasting - if we're going, might as well do it all! =)

I step up, ME ME ME... oh wait... not a member... durn it! not to mention i don't exactly live in VA... yet...

Allright then, i'll have to get a real commitment from him then. I told him that he'd get to co-pilot a MINI and have some real fun. (hope that's convincing enough)

Thanks for the updates, folks. No need to mention yes on the tavern, I pretty much assume people will be eating lunch - unless they plan on packing their own! All I really need to know are:
  • # of passengers joining you (if any) (since the RSVP only accommodates 1 name)
  • Wine tasting yes or no (for all people in the vehicle)
Thanks! DON'T FORGET TO RSVP ON THE CALENDAR TOO!

On the 6th:

1 for the run and wine tasting

It might change to 2, but I can't get Dave to tell me what he's doing tomorrow, let alone in a week and half. If it's a problem he can bring a lunch and eat in the car.

If you can't get one before the run, most of the time, if not, always, people bring extras. First run i went on i didnt have one, and the second run Laura let me borrow one (thanks again). I plan on getting a set soon as well, so worst come to worst, you can borrow one of mine (if i stop procrastinating and buy them).

Someone will post the type and where they bought theirs pretty soon though, these guys/girls are nice and helpful. (and they dont yell at you for not using the craptastic search function like everyone else does. seriously, you cant find anything with that thing) good people.

You will have a blast. i have never had so much fun driving. i imagine the only thing that could compare would be actual track time.

EDIT: I RSVPd for the 20th, but i dont know who will be coming with me yet. the maximum will be 1 extra person, probably no wine but ill have to get back to you. I want to come one the 6th, but i wont know if i can come until the night before. I have to work saturday (the 5th) and it may spill over into sunday. We have to set up a new server, but we cant do it during business hours. at least im getting overtime. But once again, most would be +1. ill post a more accurate number when i get more info.

OK, I'm sure someone else wanted to ask too, what is the difference between the Rappa and the Naked editions?

Yep! The only difference is which winery we're going to. I chose the names for the editions to be a bit tongue-in-cheek.
