OK, I'm sure someone else wanted to ask too, what is the difference between the Rappa and the Naked editions?

Thanks also to Stephanie (creseida) for her help on the 1st dry run, and a pre-emptive thanks to Alan (Scavenger) for helping on the 3rd dry run, which is taking place this Saturday (the 29th).
There sure does seem to be lots of WINE(ing) around here! Jay still hasn't decided if we are going to both, or one or the other. when is the cut off date?

I'd really like to try to get numbers firmed up by the Wednesday prior... so that means next Wednesday (April 2) for the Rappa run and Wednesday, April 16 for the Naked run.

What time are you leaving for your dry run this Saturday?

Alan and I are trying to mimic the actual schedule of the run. Therefore we'll be trying to make it out there around 9:30am on Saturday, with departure at 10am. Neither of us are morning people but I'm determined to make it a "dress rehearsal" dry run.
Anyone that wants to follow along is welcome, but please let me know so I can print up some extra sheets tomorrow.
Actually, I'm using the Calendar RSVP as a basis to determine the # of MINIs, so we can keep an eye on it. It would be great if Stacey RSVPed there using her account.

Katie, the key thing on the wineries is that it's tasting, not drinking. I am going to very strongly request that any people who choose to participate in the wine tasting also not drink any alcohol on the lunch stop. For me, I'll be having a soda with lunch.
Also, there are no "shares" really... everyone has to pay to participate in the tasting. Otherwise it will just be a "hangout" stop after lunch.
Better NOT time your run you two...I have a feeling it will be about an hour faster than the real run
Well, I HAD planned on driving this one at a deliberately calm, casual pace, and yes... paying attention to how long it takes (even then, adding additional time for the inevitable group slowdowns).
However, I have a feeling that with Pawel behind me, it will be hard not to drive in a more spirited fashion.
I did the timed, very casual pace thing, on the last dry run (with Ashley), so already have a general ballpark as it is now.
