We're both winos so add us to the list I'm going to let him have a go at Wensleydale at some point to "influence" him. Everyone make sure and tell him he needs a Cabrio

OK, list updated.

Alan (Scavenger), Pawel (pyskacz) and Pawel's brother Simon joined me on the 3rd dry run today. It was a great day to go driving! The route is finalized, I'm confident and ready for the April 6 (Rappa Edition) run!

However, it turns out that the cost of wine tasting on the Rappa Edition is higher than I first thought. It's normally only $5 per person, but in groups of 8 or more, it's $7.50 each. Just a heads up. Of course, each taster gets to keep their wine glass, so hopefully that makes it a little easier to stomach.

Of course, I am going to be requesting that wine tasters not drink any alcohol with lunch (unless perhaps they are only passengers), so that should make lunch a little bit cheaper... not to mention making the wine taste that much better after lunch.

Thanks again to Alan, Pawel & Simon for their company today - I think they all really enjoyed it. I sure did!

Both my brother and I had a blast today! This should become one of my favorite runs for the year: beautiful sights, plenty of twisties, and verrrry nice straights .

Thanks again for letting us come along and shake the dust of my car, though I did notice that there is a much thicker coat of brake dust on the front rims for some reason

I just noticed -- how come there are more people in the toll for the 20th vs the 6th but there are less RSVP's?? Come on people, sign'er up! =)

My knee's saying that I can make it on the 6th.

Haven't touched the pain meds so I'm in for wine also.

Ok, it's just been decided. I will be attending along with my wife on the April 6th run. This will be our first ever run, so please be gentle. So add 1 more MINI and 2 more people! We will both be wine tasting so add 2 more for the Rappa wine list.

Also, MINInurse can you give my hat to Edge if you will not be there on the 6th?

Thanks.

I can't wait to show off my Scottish plaid armrests:

Yeah I know, I just figured that not everyone would know what tartan was. I know I didn't until I started researching the fabric.

I need to play everything by ear for April, I'm in the process of trying to buy a townhouse (with garage!) in Charles Town.

Update on attendance.

So, a kind of interesting thing happened. The work I had to do this weekend that may have spilled over into sunday, was cancelled. so now i plan on coming this sunday, the 6th and bringing one person. I'll verify this by tomorrow. but now, it may have to be done one the 19th/20th. some im basically switching days. although im holding out for it to be postponed again so i can attend the run after the breakfast at tate. anyway, there is the attendance update.

UPDATE: Apparently I lucked out, as the work was postponed until the 26th. So now I can attend all four runs this month!! I'm super-duper excited!! I will be there on the 20th, plan for one passenger, no wine. Oh man I can't wait.

Maxi is under secret project and won't be ready to come out for the run on the 6th.

But, if you all don't mind, I would tag along at in the back of the pack with other car.

217 @ the wheel is enough already.

I just want to make sure that all 217 will be on the ground, be able to control and stop all the horses when needed.

With regrets, I'm going to have to withdraw from this event
I sure was looking forward to it, and if my situation improves, perhaps I can join the next one?

I may have to drop out as well. I had unexpected company (and lots of it) last weekend and didn't get to install my new exhaust and new TSW X brace yet. I don't know if I can get it all done Sat or not. I'll try.
