Hopefully I'll be done and be able to give them their first 'run' test on Sun.

Oops, my mistake. When I read the quote from Mike, my first thought was of

Everyone have fun this weekend.

The work I had to do this weekend that may have spilled over into sunday, was cancelled. so now i plan on coming this sunday, the 6th and bringing one person. I'll verify this by tomorrow. but now, it may have to be done one the 19th/20th. some im basically switching days. although im holding out for it to be postponed again so i can attend the run after the breakfast at tate. anyway, there is the attendance update.

UPDATE: Apparently I lucked out, as the work was postponed until the 26th. So now I can attend all four runs this month!! I'm super-duper excited!! I will be there on the 20th, plan for one passenger, no wine. Oh man I can't wait.
Added, but double check the post #91 list to be sure it's right.

But, if you all don't mind, I would tag along at in the back of the pack with other car.
That's fine with me! You can follow the last MINI sweeper (which will probably be Alan/Scavenger.

That's fine, but please remove your name from the Calendar RSVP too.

Mark - when do you think you'll know? Saturday afternoon? Since you want to join in the wine-tasting, I'm hoping to give them fairly accurate numbers by today or tomorrow. Being 1 or 2 off probably won't matter much... but there are others I haven't heard back from yet.

Speaking of... I have yet to hear final answers from the following people on both # of passengers riding with them and how may vehicle passengers are going to participate in the wine tasting.

April 6 (Rappa Edition)
ravana <-- still need wine RSVP
Scavenger <-- still need wine & passenger RSVP
cmcg <-- still need wine & passenger RSVP
Ambrosia (+1) <-- still need wine RSVP

April 20 (Naked Edition)
Scavenger <-- still need wine & passenger RSVP
jarl66 <-- still need wine & passenger RSVP
minirab <-- still need wine & passenger RSVP

Thanks! PMs to follow in a moment.

Since the weather may cooperate this weekend, SOULFIRE may be out and about! I know we are planning on going to see Ed for some cleaning, but.....we may just hop onboard for the Rappa run as well.
I know I will be out for wine...I will be whining by then I may have to bring my eye covers and ear plugs and curl up in the back of SF to get some sleep! but I think we will be there.... (only one car tho)

If it isn't tooooooo late. 1 car, 2 people, 1 wine

Updated, thanks! On the Rappa run (April 6), I expect we'll get to the winery around 2:15pm. On the Naked run (April 20), more like 2:30pm. Please let me know if that works for you.

I also talked to Alan (Scavenger) - had to chase him down.

That leaves the current (and likely final) total at:

28 MINIs, 41 people (25 confirmed wines)

Also: If there are any extra passengers coming along who would like to ride with me at the front, and help me navigate (i.e. read off turns & directions, so that I can focus on driving), please let me know. I am confident I can "go it alone", but it's always easier and smoother for the lead MINI to have a co-pilot!

POSSIBLE BAD NEWS FLASH: I just got off the phone with the winery for this coming Sunday (April 6), and they aren't sure they can accommodate a group our size if we don't show up by 1pm. With the Griffin Tavern expecting us around 12:15pm or so, that is next to impossible. It's way too late to change our start time to an earlier time to accommodate.

They said they would try to pull some strings and get back to me. Worst case scenario: we'd have to skip the winery.

Can't imagine anyone being upset, you've worked hard to get this far !

The run alone is very good, very scenic, nice twisties. I say let's just enjoy the day Motoring since that's what we really care about. The only whine you'll hear from me will be coming from my supercharger!!

I won't be there with my supercharger, but with my i-VTEC.

Don't worry, I'm going to be real far behind the caravan.

no wine, but one for lunch
