Any GTG's planned in VA?
I live out towards Fredericksburg and the Maryland events are just too far away. Would love to join the club and would like to come to an event and see what you're all about. Are y'all planning any events where a newbie can come meet you that won't be hours away? Thx.

Definitely, .......
I heard that there will be a run down in Va around early April.
It will be on DCMM calendar once it's confirmed.
Please stay tuned.

Detail to be followed.

You do live up to the "Chief Stir-Potter" bit eh?
I think what you are seeing is the MD members being active and making things happen in familiar settings, I think all of us "East Enders" would enjoy motoring on the West Side. I know I would, then my brother would have no excuse to ride along
So come on VA members, lets get some runs in the works !
Looking forward to April !
Mike

DC isn't in MD. If you want something to happen in VA, put down yer pot stirrer and organize something.

Actually the pointer is on Rt.50 (Constitution Ave NW) and 9th St NW. That is pretty much DC to me!

if you had come to any of the events that I've been to, or the DCMM party that I hosted, you'd know my sense of humor is healthy.

oh puhleeze...it was done as a joke! Just being silly, is all. A joking way of trying to get his car finished. It didn't work anyway.
A seance...criminey.
Now who's in need of of a humor tune....

I was there. It wasn't funny. Just like me kicking Jaysen in the knee might be a joke to me, but probably not to him

I was there too...we joined hands, said something like "boogety boogety" or some such nonsense. It wasn't meant to be serious, much less offend anyone.
oh well, can't win them all.
good night.

You know, the club has some active new members. Perhaps you should try again in the nice months. I have even started to open my eyes to MachV

it's that kind of behavior that drove my wife and I away from DCMM in 2004 (well, mostly it was Marina being obnoxious, but that's not new nor surprising to anybody here I'm sure). She won't attend any events with me now and showing her that video of the 'seance' reinforces that the core clique within DCMM is off their friggin rockers.
seriously...it makes me squirm with embarassment just watching it, even now.

There was actually more to it than just Mr OEM not going as planned.....
