Anybody have a spare one? I have a new neighbor from AZ across the street with a 5/02 build MCS and it's got a bad exhaust on it. I told her not to buy a new one from the dealer in hopes that there's one sitting around somewhere in DCMM. Her husband has a truck, so he'll gladly come pick it up.

Hmm... if you guys have trouble finding one, I'm quite sure that MoS throws away stock exhausts all the time (when upgrading it). I know they threw mine away when I had my JCW tuning kit installed, back when I bought the car...

With the right call to the right person at the service department, they might not mind letting you guys take one of the tossables away!

 

who would the 'right' person be? she just had the car towed there to have it looked at.

 

I have the stock exhaust off my 2006 MCS for sale. Don't know if it would
fit a 2002. The exhaust has 4000 miles on it.

 

location and cost? most people give them away (I know I did for both of our cars)

 

I'm not exactly sure. The bean counters and uptight businessmen would see giving the exhaust away as a possible liability or lost sale...

...but I suspect the good-hearted folks there who know it's just going to be tossed away wouldn't care if someone wanted to take it.

I don't have specific names, I was just saying that if you manage to find one of the less uptight folks who has some form of authority over it, they probably wouldn't care. Just a hunch.

got a reply from my neighbor - it was the cat, so it's covered under warranty. I'll ask them if they want to pick up drocay's just in case

 

I had a spare header and cat... Unfortunately it got shipped here to Guam with me. Tell 'im he's a few months too late.
