[Sun, Nov 4th @ 9am] Burtonsville get together Part II

Thinking November 4th might be a good day to meet up at the parking lot again followed by a lunch run to the Iron Bridge......any interest ?

Tea and scones will be served again

Let's make the get together / car show official and get it on the calander for Nov 4th @ 9:00am. My wife is all set for scones and tea again, please sign up on the calander so we can get an idea of how much to make. We'll try and park at the north end of the lot again, I'll try to be early this time to get some spaces !

We will do a small run through Howard County (~35 miles) around noon to go get some lunch. The destination will be the Iron Bridge Wine Co. The London Broil on Foccacia is wicked good (http://www.ironbridgewines.com/)

MINIs actually draw quite a bit of attention, Sooooo, get your MINI all primped and pruned and come on out !

Cheers,

Mike

Reminder: Don't forget to adjust your alarm clock on Saturday night, for DST. No more excuse.

Great, looks like we're growing ! If we can get to 20 cars we'll really have a presence !

Looking forward to seeing you all there, Wensley's heading in for a check up on the clutch (no work I just want to document the noise) and a tire rotation and balance.

Cheers,

Mike

About 35 minutes on Sunday, take 270 south, 28 east, it will change to 198, take 198 east. The place is on 198 and 29. You won't miss it.

I think MrMellowYellow is coming from Germantown as well. Maybe, you two can motoring together from there.

HaHa...you beat me to it Chris! I was about to suggest motoring together.

Heck, maybe us Montgomery people should meet up in Rockville and all head out together. Meet at the farmer's market parking lot on 28 at Monroe Street? I'm not too familiar w/ Rockville but I'm thinking that's a place we'd all know.

That's certainly worthy of a 90%

Hope you make it !

Wensley had to spend the night at Tate so I've got a new friend I'm calling "Black Bart", an all astroblack MC. Bart has quite a few options that Wensley does not have such as the heated seats, that was nice this a.m. zenons, chrono, etc. It also has the HK system, this is the first time I've had a chance to hear one since Wensley has the standard system. I must be honest I was disappointed, to my ears the lows are way too boomy, the highs to bright and mids are just gone. On the other hand, if you want to rattle your brains with some Techno, hip-hop or House music, that system does that very well ! Thumpah Thumpah !

Its all good !

Tate has promised to have Wensley back today so I'll have her for Sunday

Mike
