You guys obviously have more money than me
I have spent under 500.00 so far, its only been a year. I kind of think of it this way, I hope to have my MINI for many years to come. There are so many cosmetic mods we can do to our cars that when it starts looking old or worn, I will just change it . Also its justacooper and and I dont autocross or anything like that so performance mods are not for me. I will upgrade my exhaust when I need it and get better tires when mine wear out.

I do have a wish list

I have a special spot in my toolbox. I stop there before going upstairs whenever I come home with something.

Ahh... the joys of having nobody to answer to but my very own credit card statement.

I'm wondering how much money you've already spent on your MINI. That includes all kind of mods, parts and/or labors, go and/or show.

Yes I think the poll should be modified to have a 10-15k category and a 15-20k category. Everything under 1000 should be one category

So who holds the record?
With my twincharge setup, and rebuilding the motor, I have spent in the area of $25,000 in modifications. I'll have to get the list when I get home from Vacationing.

Is that all Zak?

Maybe $1500 for me. Next month Chad will get a little more of my money for a new exhaust.

If you think you've spent around 25g, you've probably spent more like 30g.

Don't forget to add up all the wheels, tires, interior tid bits, and old mods that you might have already taken off. It's quite scary how fast all that small stuff adds up.

and this thread is the reason I try to buy my cars slightly modified.
you end up paying pennies on the dollar for something someone else did.
i love cars but will never drop more then just a few grand on one.
its lost money. well, maybe its cause im older now with the wife, kid, house, business. i just cant justify spending money without getting a return on it.
