How much have you already spent on modifying your MINI?
Actually, the seats are still factory (Lapis Blue leather)... but I do hope at some point, one day to get ahold of the JCW seats in Lapis Blue leather.
The detail of the mods is in this thread. It'll sure be a long read and the content is quite dramatic though.

But to make it easier, here you go!!!
Base on stock R53 MCS '06
JCW intake $575/installed
JCW exhaust $775/installed
JCW Suspension/Madness RSB ~$1,700/installed
JCW Strut tower bar $225
JCW GP intercooler $775/installed
JCW Fuel Injectors $395/installed
JCW pulley belt ~$40
JCW Flash $55
IK22 plugs ~$50
Helix 15% Pulley $390/1nstalled
Schrick camshaft ~$650/installed
Total: engine and suspension, ~$5,630
Plus wheels, tires, this and that. Grand total is just slightly less than $10k mark.

I never added it all up... But I'm pretty sure I passed 10k. I don't know if i want to know, which may explain why I've never added it up. Pretty much everything before MOTD07 is on my profile page though (link in my sig).
Mod a MINI is very addictive. Once start, it can never be stop.
I'm wondering how much money you've already spent on your MINI. That includes all kind of mods, parts and/or labors, go and/or show.

waaaaay too much. and honestly the only thing that has actually brought me greater joy is the pulley and the intake. both 150 each. 300 bucks of mods that made me smile. and 4000 of mods that may have been money wasted lol.
Asa AR2 and Kuhmo ECSTA ASXs 215/45/17
M7 Grilles (upper and lower)
JCW grille trim (had a lot of chrome on the old car, getting rid of it on this one!)
beltline blackout
Alta semi-CAI
sorry, no slammage. Wayyyy too many roadkill opportunities on my 84 mile backroad commute.
Maybe the JCW susp. in the spring though . I can't be the only one on M|U with stock ride height.

Doing some fast and dirty math
based on the posts to date (taking the mid point of the $ range, and assuming $12,500 for the $10k+ group), the respondants represent just under half a million dollars of spending, with a weighted average of just $4.5k per person! For a car that averages around $30k, that's $15% of purchase price on mods! Yikes!

Well, I lasted about three months and 4,000 miles before I started writing
the checks! With everything so far I'm at $4,000, not including all the beer
I drank fretting about spending the dough on this addiction we all have. Then I thought that this is entirely way, way too much fun. All I could
think about was the line from the movie DR. STRANGELOVE - How I stopped
worrying and learned to love the bomb(mods!).
