The template is from iWeb - part of the iLife package. The beauty of Apple! I do know some code so IF I want to make changes I'm able to. We thought it would be a fun and simple way to document the trip. Anyone can get a 60 free trial for a .mac account... I registered the domain name ($12) and just redirected it to the .mac address. It's a little slow to load, but that doesn't bother me at all!

Are you sticking to the interstates because of time constraints? Out west, taking the two lane highways can be almost as fast and you see a whole lot more of America...

On the trip east when I came from Hawaii, we put in 4300 miles with less than 250 on interstate highways.

I was checking the blog late last night and thinking "no update?"... but very happy to see that one was made this morning.

My first curiosity - the Dead Animal Graveyard scorecard... how does it work? Did Louise really see 178 dead animals in the first day? I'm thinking it really must have more to do with X points for spotting Y type of animal.

 

That figure made me chuckle as well! Maybe she opened the bonnet and surveyed the various insect collection spots....
