Hey, I have that beat; I will be in Knoxville, TN that weekend!
Well, I tied.

I was in West By God Virginia last weekend at Snowshoe, and went right by Seneca Caverns. Some great riding in those hills!

All that go on this ride/trip, enjoy!

We drove the run this past Saturday to confirm the route. The roads are very smooth and wind up the mountains and through the valleys.

Traffic was VERY minimal, making for a really enjoyable drive. The great weather helped also; hopefully, that will hold for this coming weekend.

We have a PDF file for the run and hopefully it will be attached to the 1st message sometime today.

Please RSVP if you are coming up on Saturday.

Hate to miss this one but I have to work.

If you are going out in the afternoon or early evening on Friday, be prepared for traffic in Frederick. We went out to Deep Creek Lake this past Friday and ran into a 5 mile stop and go back up getting through Frederick on 70W. Seems like this is a regular Friday event. The traffic merging in from 270 looked like it was backed up too. Watch for troopers around Flintstone, especially on the down hills.

There are great roads out in Western Maryland. We found some really good ones around the Savage River Resevoir and Swallow Falls State Park. Deep Creek Lake would make a great overnight run next summer. Good roads, good scenery, and good places to sit around with a cold one and tell lies.

First, a big thanks to CooperCops for this great run, over 200 miles and
thousands of turns! To all who missed this one it was truly your loss.
And second a big thank you to Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) for spending
everyone's tax money for paving all the twisties. He is not such a bad
fellow afterall (not). Let's do this one again.

How long did the run take from initial start point departure to pulling into the ice cream stop?
