Aesthetic Creations is coming back to DC!!!

Mike is coming back east again this fall to DC to have another install party! This is just a thread to start your juices flowing and to get your creative thoughts started on what you would like.

For those of you who don't know, www.aestheticreations.net
Mike does top quality vinyl and assorted creative compliments for your MINI!

Soulfire has been completely remade by Mike- the Roof Graphic, the Bonnet Stripes, the Side Dragons, the Gauges, the Doorsills, and the Domed Vinyl S's have all been created and installed by Mike. He will be doing even more to Soulfire when he visits again this year..yes I did say more! And of course there is now Cecilia... He will be doing A LOT for her aesthetics as well!

So start thinking and planning with Mike for some installations. The dates will be in October. As soon as I hear from him, I will let you know what they will be!

I may be interested. I've had some ideas on customizing my bonnet stripe since the day I bought the car. My concern now is that October will make two years that I've owned it and I wonder whether UV has caused a noticeable color difference in the paint not covered by the stripe. If replacing the stripe with something else means exposing paint that doesn't match anymore, that will be unfortunate. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about it if you are going with the same width as your current stripe.

To answer your question. If you park the car in the sun all day than you will have some fading. If you wax regularly then it will not be too noticable. The safest way to to get you into a custom graphic would be by using the same pattern and doing something inside of it. That way you don't have to worry about it.

I will be ready to sTART

To answer your question. If you part in the sun for the majority of the day than you will have fading issues. the easiest way to get around that for graphics is use the same checkmate design you have on there now and just do something custom inside of it.

I can start working on custom designs when I get back from MITM.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm thinking a simple design inside the standard U-stripe. Maybe even just order another one and modify it, not totally sure. I should start thinking about it now. Thanks

Start thinking now everyone! Mike is going to be working on some awesome stuff for Soulfire and Cecilia I have a feeling that we are going to be putting their daughter through college if we keep it up The ideas just keep flowing out of us, and will be pretty cool and elaborate. Got to be You-Nique!
