Big Brother Fans???
I'm a diehard fan of the show and the Chenbot (err this season Chenorexiabot) and would like to find out if any other club members would be interested in watching it together - it's on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Obviously the Thursday live eviction is usually the one to watch.

I'm also a diehard fan, and yes I've started watching this season too, although I rarely get a chance to watch it as it is broadcast, so I often end up resorting to my PVR, which is an absolute godsend.
Check out the Off-Topic forum, there are a bunch of BB nuts on there too. See this thread:

I've never liked her, I still don't. She does nothing for me. The only reason she has that job (which I think she does very poorly) is because of who she is married to.
Harsh? Maybe so... but she is the worst part of the show, IMO.

The reason I like it? It doesn't try to pretend to be something it's not. It's a game, pure and simple... everyone knows it's a game, nobody calls it anything else, and everybody plays the game, with all of their strategies. It's like a big game of mental & emotional chess, really.

Contrast that with shows like American Idol (where they aren't really idols (in my opinion) and they don't even sing original songs) and Survivor (where, I don't care what anyone says, they won't let people actually die on the show, so they aren't really "surviving" in the truest sense), and you can appreciate the "pure game, no pretending" nature of Big Brother.
It's also one of those shows that you have to might have to watch from the start of the season to truly appreciate. I also love the fact that the game is played live, at the same time it is being broadcast. 3 hours a week of broadcast... true, 2 of them are "recap" shows of what happened the last day or two, but the Thursday show is live (with a few minor recaps thrown in). Something about the "this is actually happening right now" aspect is very appealing. And unlike other "live" shows, where it is really only happening for an hour or two during the broadcast, this one is "live all the time, really happening right now all the time". It's a much broader "live game" than anything else on TV. The entire game lasts about 3 months!
And if you really get into it, you can subscribe to the online feeds, and basically watch what's going on in the house 24/7. I'm not that crazy though, I stick to my prescribed 3 hours a week.
