TPMS reset failure?

Hi all!

So I have a 2017 Mini Countryman S and I had the two front tires replaced due to age and wear (I did not do all four as I normally would due to finances). Now the TPMS cannot seem to sense the tires. I did attempt a reset via vehicle status two times and it failed. It wants me to take it over to Mini (money I don’t have at the moment.)There was nothing wrong with the system before I had the tires replaced. I was curious if there is anything I can do to help it reset the sensors. Also has anyone found an online service manual for the F60? Not an owners manual, the repair manual?

Thanks.

most tire places have a special tool which can check the TPMS system, a function not seen in typical 'code scanners'
