Not resetting TPMS

So I just had one tire replaced, and the place didn't have the means to reset the TPMS. What does this mean?

Will I only not receive an alert from that one tire?

Will this mess me up in the future, when I have all 4 tires replaced?

You can reset yourself...Just go to your manual and it will tell you how... access the DIC go to SET/INFO and to TPMS symbol and reset. Assuming whoever change the tire did not damage sensor or leave off entirely (07 sensors are different than 08 versions).
