+35 offset fit on mini countryman??

Hey guys

Newbie here, I want to buy some set of bbs rs wheels. The specs the company gave me that would fit my Countryman were 18x9 offset 35 but I am not sure. I do want an aggressive look and stance. I will be lowering the car with Megan racing coilovers also. Will I have a problem with those wheels?? Anybody running this wheel specs on their countryman??

Hope I get some help.

Thank you

I am looking to do the same. The wheel fitment website seems to allow this.

I am looking at these.

Depends how low you planning to go with your CMS. 18x9 +35 is consider aggerssive on the CMS

i am awaiting my 255/30/20 +35MM offset Wheel and tire package to arrive.
tiresize.com and willtheyfit.com says it will fit without any noticeable speedo inaccuracy
coming from stock 225/45/18 +52MM offset and stock suspension

Wow! 255 is super wide! What width wheel are you getting? Has to be at least 8.5" I would expect some rubbing issues with that wide a wheel/tire.

I certainly wish you luck. I researched the hell out tire/wheel size and consulted with multiple Mini gurus/specialists. Everyone said the same thing, and my research concurred that (for my case, assuming 1.5" lowering) that 235/40R18 on 18x8 et42 wheels was widest I cold go without question. 255/30R20 on 20x8.5 et35 will be .7" wider, .6" taller, and stick out .7" farther.

Now, being that you haven't mentioned any suspension changes, maybe it'll be ok. All I know is that, if you pull it off without it rubbing and it doesn't look like a skateboard, I'm might be super jelly.

"without question" meaning without risking buying something that didn't work and then have to re-buy things.

255/30/20 +35 offset on 2015 R61 S All4

Here is the answer we all been awaiting. installed these today on stock suspension. clearance check to inner side wall and suspension works just as the references I used above and I just drove 4.1 Miles Not a rub or squeal. these Toyo Proxes 4 Plus tires are actually smoother and quieter than the stock P7 Cinturato All seasons.

Nice!

Your car looks great! I love the color and the rally lights. Surprisingly the rim size doesn't look awkward or too big. Congrats. You happy?
