I don't know if anyone from CORN keeps an eye on these posts anymore. I think they are more about Facebook if you want to check there. I am not officially from Nebraska but across the river in Council Bluffs. I catch up with the CORN group from time to time. So are you a new Mini owner?

I would like to join CORN. I live in Sioux City, IA but there is nothing on the western side of Iowa. I would be down to come to Omaha for cruises and other things when you guys have them.
My lady friend and I own a 05 R53. Looking for help in modding it as well.

Events are pretty much ad hoc -- we currently don't have a set schedule. That being said most of the drives we've done have been in the Loess Hills between Council Bluffs and Sioux City.
Our primary means of communication is Facebook.

Nope not frost. I think it's just the lighting. It's hyper blue metallic and the wheels are Konig Lace. They are a polished face with black.
WOO! CORN! I'm glad there's a NE group around. I was over on the mini skirts site and no mention of a club in NE. Guess I'll pop over to fb and check it out.
I'm a brand new mini owner. No, the mini is old, I'm new to the marque. I've been driving Hondas until now. Well, I still have a Honda and a project Honda but, I reaaallly dig this mini thing. 2003 solid gold Cooper with about 107K on the clock.
Previous owner had dumped some big coin taking care of the original owner's neglect. There's still plenty left for me to fix. Now, she's entering the mini-van portion of her life. I'm in the I no longer need a practical car portion of mine.
Looks like I'll be here researching how to snuff the multitude of rattles my little monster has, the tips and tricks knowledge here appears to be pretty deep. It ain't Honda-Tech but, not a bad site.
I'ma go see when the next local meet is happening. See you there.

brawsie, The wife and I were Honda owners as well. We had a 95 Civic EX until we replaced it with our first MINI and then last year our 2000 Accord LX was replaced by our Coupe.

A little more about my mini
This is my 2013 Countryman S All4. I got all the goodies, nav, sunroof, and manual transmission. He is affectionately named Brutus. With the weather looking better are there any cruise days planned. I was thinking maybe during the week we could meet down in Old market as a group and have a drink at Parliament to honor our British heritage!

For the majority that's the place to be but for me the app sucked the battery life from my phone so I uninstalled it and I keep forgetting to check it at home.
Getting together to drive and then drink sounds good to me; however, when is the question. Seems like somethings always coming up for my wife and I.
