Also why I'm thinking about it, anybody shed some light on "Tag Cards"? Where to get, how to order, etc..
Seeing more and more Minis in NE, pretty awesome!

Didn't see a dedicated MITM3 thread yet in your forum so I'm posting this in your welcome thread. Just wanted you to know that the handful of MINIs from our group here in eastern Iowa (more may commit later) are planning to head west on August 5th and stop over in Kearney that evening, motoring the rest of the way to Copper Mt. on the 6th.

Not sure how this synchs with your existing plans, but we'd love to hook up and caravan with some of you on the way out to MITM3 if it works.

I just found this thread and I have family members in Nebraska (my Grandmother, brother and several cousins) and have been back for a visit a few times. I would love to be an out-of-state member and double the membership in the San Diego area.

 

It just so happens that you will be only 20 miles North of me when you stop in Kearney. I will gladly travel with you to MITM3 I am sure some of the Omaha and Lincoln folk would be willing to leave early to meet up with us in Kearney.

 

I had been waiting to hear some plans and dates for it. Now that I know I'll see if I can work this into my schedule.

Hey MINI MANIACS Picked my 08 CR/W MCS About 3 weeks ago after waiting 6 weeks and love it. I live in Fairbury and would like to join CORN. Great logo by the way.

 

I'd like to join C.O.R.N. as well. I moved to Bellevue from Cambridge, England a few months and stumbled across your forum.

I too have had outstanding service from Mini of Omaha; they are great!!! I bought Ojo (modded HO MCSC) in the UK back in Sept. 2005, brought her back with me to NE, and Mini of Omaha set her straight for US driving. Thanks Kim!!

I'm looking forward to meets and checking out all the Minis, keep me posted.

 

OK so I have been busy and not getting to editing the first post. Those of you who recently added your info to this thread should be added now.

Just so you know we created some interest from Cooper Flags with our talk about grille badges. They contacted me with a PM directly so I have some thinking to do. I believe they made the badges from the Dragon this year and they are great quality with a very thick magnetic backing. I will get with them sometime this weekend about cost and such.

Anyone up for a get together on Sunday? I know of at least two of us who will be meeting for lunch in Omaha Click -->here<-- for more info. Maybe a drive will break out after lunch.

I am a new MINI owner in NE and would love to be a member of C.O.R.N.. I am currently living in Central City, which is close to Grand Island and am a senior in high school. I have an '04 CR MCS. I love the logo by the way, I will surely be buying a t-shirt!

Great to see another rural member. Also, you are likely the youngest member of CORN. There are probably younger members but the O in CORN stands for Owner so as far as I know you are the youngest. Congrats on the purchase of your MINI.

Just picked up my new Mini on Friday. '08, Chili Red. Already put 400 miles on it. Going to be a challenge to not put too many miles on it this year! I live in Lincoln, teach in Omaha, and figure I'll drive as far as I can on the weekends.
