We are all over the state. My wife and I are in Fremont NE, and there are 3 MINI hardtops and one Countryman in town. Omaha has quite a few MINIs motoring around. We have a few members in Lincoln, one in Minden, one in Falls City, one in Plattsmouth. I've talked to one member from Chadron even. The only MINI dealer in NE is in Omaha.

We'll wave, come back some day! LOL!

No worries...shoulda mentioned that we really enjoyed the back roads of NE. Not a lot of twisties but wonderful countryside vistas. We subscribe to the 'Road Less Traveled' school of motoring which may explain the lack of your more urban MINIs.

I would like to be considered a member from afar, be it from Philadelphia, PA suburbs. You have the coolest acronym and the great graphics - and really, we are all just a mouse click away! While I have never been out that far west, I plan to at some point even if it is when I retire. In fact, I think the Kool-Aid museum is out there, something I really want to go see someday!

 

Greetings CHUBBYMINIOFPA. Do you have a clubman or countryman? I often refer to our MINI as the Chubby Clubby.

 

Chubby, that museum is the Hastings NE Museum. I read somewhere this year they're restoring some of the Kool-Aid stuff and updating their displays.

 

I have a Countryman - my wife has been calling it a Chubby Mini since we got it last year. Bloated has also been referenced but Chubby sounded cuter....I love it none-the-less! I had considered the Clubman before the Countryman came out.....I am looking forward to that Kool-Aid museum.

 

I'm a Coloradan by address, but a Nebraskan by birth. Would love to be a member, but I guess I'll have to be content with my nearby mountains and terrible college football teams.

I'll be traveling in CORN country, stopping in Lincoln before departing for points east, at the end of July. I know Minis are not as common in Huskerland, but I hope to see and wave at a few of you along the way! I too will be taking the roads less traveled as much as possible - it's much more interesting to me than the I-80 slog I've already done a hundred times.

I have a 2002 Mini Cooper S and just love it!

Would love to plan a "Mini" invasion of Fairbury, organize a "Mini" tour of the area and a "Mini" car show around our beautiful courthouse square on a First Friday when we have our monthly art walk event. Art galleries are open and there is wine and beer tasting and live music, plus lodging options. Sound like fun?

I am a new Cooper owner and am so excited that I started looking for clubs. CORN is obviously the coolest club in the state. My new '07 Cooper hardtop is named Bobbie, and we live in Omaha, NE.



I love that other Cooper owners in town flash their lights when we pass; I get all the camaraderie of a motorcycle, but I can drive in the snow.
