2008 NAM Calendar

How about starting this thread to place orders for the 2008 NAM Calendar? I would like to get one but noticed that clubs can purchase a group order of 10 or more for a discount price.

So if interested, lets post if you would like to commit to purchasing a calendar as part of a group purchase.

I'll keep a running total here:

Zyamfier for 2.
I'm in for 1.
Jpolson for 2.
rvan220 for 1.
mickie for 1.
ryansoxfan for 1.
Chappy for 2.

Mike...

I'm pretty sure that I'm receiving one as a gift - so I'm out.

I may be in the big "O" this weekend so keep an eye out for a silver blur.

Yea, I kind of figured you might have to be the one to order them but I figured I would at least start this to see if there was an interest.

Thanks,

The main price is $16.00 but it just mentioned a discount for clubs purchasing 10 or more but I don't know what the actual price of that discount is yet. I'll see if I can find out.

I just received an email from NAM (Mark Ferguson). He said he believes the price would be about $3.00 off each calendar for an order of 10 or more. Could even possibly get more off if we have way more than 10. So I believe the shipping still has to be worked into that.

He did say that in past years it normally resulted in about $1-2 per calendar off the retail price.

We are still about 2 calendars short to get in on the 10 order purchase. Everyone see if you can mention this to any other MINI owners you might know that may not be on the site.

Jim,

If you were wanting 2 calendars, we are up to 10 calendars so we should be able to put in an order for them now. Can you do it or do you need help from me or anyone else to do it?

Hey,

If anyone has a way to contact Jim, see if you can do so. I haven't heard from him since the one posting he did so if he is gone or out of town, I may go ahead and place the order for the calendars if I can since it would be nice to get them before the end of the year.

I am around just been busy... I was only looking for one calendar.
I will place the order soon. Probably get a few extra to cover those that did not get a chance to get one. Thinking I will be in Omaha the weekend of the 22nd. I would be able to deliver then if that works for you guys.
Chappy is there anyway you could order through a local group in TX.?
That would save the shipping cost. Let me know.

Great, that works for me. Was afraid you dropped off the earth (or just out having fun somewhere).

Sorry for the delayed response, I dropped off the face of the Earth for a week, but I'm back now.

I'm a member of HMMS (Houston Mini Motoring Society), but I haven't been involved for quite sometime since I've been out of the country. Based on this, I'd say that I couldn't order them through my local club before Christmas since I've been AWOL.

I must be missing something, so please let me know what I need to do to order them thru HMMS and I'll check into it.

Now what?

Chappy,
The reason I am asking you to check with your local club is because I am delivering the other ones by hand to the rest of our local club. I had not planed on sending any by mail. That gets to be a lot of work at this time of year. That said I am willing to send one to you. I am ordering extra for those members of our club that did not get a chance to read this tread. No big deal I just don't want to make a bunch of trips to the post office.
Thanks,
Jim

DUH, sorry Jim, I'm a little thick in the head sometimes.

From what I can tell, my localy club hasn't done a group order.

Don't worry about sending me the calendars, I just purchase a couple directly.

Have a Merry Christmas and thanks again.

Do you mean a small calendar? Is it a normal wall mount calendar size to hang up or smaller?
