NYC Area Mod Shop?

Guys-

i am starting to think about some non OEM aftermarket add ons such as catback exhaust, suspension/springs , brakes etc.

i was hoping somebody ahs had good experience with a MINI mod shop in the NYC area. I have read up on Helix MINISport down in Philly and they look pretty good, but that would mean a 5 hour roundtrip from Brooklyn. I'll do it if they are the best in the area, but can anyone recommend anyone closer?

Thanks!

I go to Helix and I live in CT, well worth the trip, why mess with perfection?
Seriously, there is Rohr in Eastern Long Island, and DMH in Warren NJ (although I'm not sure of the extent of DMH capacities).

'Rohr', 'mini', and 'long island' are not enough info for a google search. Anything else you can tell us?

DMH is VERY capable (and a site sponsor like Helix). Here's the link <DMH>.

Sorry I did not mean to denigrate Don at DMH. I think for him for MTH flash software, I don't remember anyone ever posting about his installing a pulley, etc

I'll look to find Rohr's contact info...

I have been to DMH and have spoken with Don a bunch of times I think he and his crew is very capable, He will be working on "THDUKE" in a couple of weeks.

Eric of Helix is also very capable and has done good work on "THDUKE" in the past.

Check with the Long Island MINNI club to see who they would recommend
