JCW Aero Kit and prices, MOD?

I'm crazy to add a JCW Aero Kit to my MC but with the arches the same color as my MC (OxyBlu), not the black arches. Also the rear boot JCW bumper that fits a Justa MC ( since the exhaust is not in the middle, like a MCS). Does anyonw know how much this costs, and the part numbers as well needed to pull this off? I need help and don't know where to get this info. I just need to know about how much will this total up too, so i know how much i need to put away ($$$) for this MOD.

Also, I see there is a JCW Aero Kit I & II, whats the difference and which one would be the one that would be what I'm looking for from my description on the MOD above?

I want to keep the standard MC grill and not the honey comb style from the MCS or JCW style either. The only thing is I want to have it the same color as my MC in OxyBlu and keep the frame in chrome for now.

Any help and all is appreciated!

The JCW kit looks even better with the painted arches IMO, but you'd have to get the rest of the bumper and side skirt trim painted on the new kit as well to match. I don't think you'd be able to keep the MC grille due to the shape of the bumper (I could be wrong). Aero kit II just has the brake ducts in the lower grille.

Check morristownmini.com for prices.

Thanks Brandon. I just found out there is like 4 different JCW Aero Kits sets. I was looking for the MC only version that comes primed but includes the Arches primed as well ( I heard its the most pricey of all). Not looking for individual parts though just the whole kit.

try looking on here. prices are cheaper and they mail the parts directly to your home.

Howdy! First post here.

Just ordered the JCW front bumper at the Local MINI dealer. I looked at ordering online, but shipping gets expensive for the big bulky items. The individual prices are a bit more expensive than what's quoted here:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...99&hg=51&fg=95

but not that much more. I order just the front fasica - not the full kit. To me, the front makes the most impact. The side sill extension and rear bumper don't add that much more of a styling statement. I got the honeycomb grill but will reuse the chrome grill surrounds (BMW calls them air inlet finishers). I'm pretty sure they will fit. We'll find out pretty soon.

AFAIK, the JCW aero kit I and II vary only in the front lower extension, commonly called splitter. Also, the only difference between the S and non-S versions is the lower trim piece that clips on the rear bumper, which allows for the different exhaust outlet locations.

ok so I got a good deal on my JCW Aero kit and had a friend at the dealer get me the one that goes for my MC (I hate that "Justa" crap everyone is spewing up in NAM, "Justa" is "Kinda" offensive by the way, becuase a MC is more than "Justacooper"). It arrived at a body shop of my choice and being painted as we speak. I love how it looks so far. Also, the confusion was clarified properly by drewstermalloy post to my original first thread post on the Kit I and Kit II. Thank you all.

YourBoyRoy, if this helps you out at all. Here's the link to a UK based copany that sells all factory JWC parts. The kit is a bit pricey, but it comes with factory color already when shipped. I believe it's around $1400.00 before shipping, which IMO is a great deal considering no paint job after you receive it. Take a look, they have a lot of other parts other than just the UK JCW kit.

Have to agree with that. I'm new to NAM and it took me a little while to figure out what "Justa" meant. MC, MCS and JCW are far better and more accurate abbreviations. That's what I will use in my posts, but still, others are free to call them whatever they like.

I am painting the JCW front bumper and the orginal fender flares and rear bumper lower trim. Learning how to shoot autopaint was the single best modification skills I've acquired. I've painted plenty of spoilers, side skirts, bumpers, mud flaps, and side steps over the years.

Took off all the bits and started scuff sanding some of the pieces. Probably won't get to shooting paint this Memorial weekend. Prep work takes a lot more time than the actual spray painting. I will do a little pictorial tutorial if anybody is interested.

$1883.63 shipped to my door, prepainted with all the hardware is a smoking deal, IMO... Now if I just had the cash at the moment. *adds to Amazon Wish List*

Thanks for the tip!

(Yup, its becoming a common habit on here which erks me, like: "look its a..... nah forget it, its a justa, no big deal kinda crap." )

Thats good to hear. I'm getting mine painted as we speak. The owner of my local body shop where I'm getting it done, sends me pictures to my cellphone as he gets it painted which is sweet. He had to sand down the parts with texture (this process is more lengthly as he told me and cost me a nice extra $150 to get done, oh well, there better not be any texture on my MC parts.)

I'll post my finished JCW Aero kit parts here and the progress pics i got on my cell soon so all can see.
