@Justin...White or Clear Turn Signals simply means that the lens is White or Clear, but the Bulb remains Amber. In the "mod" department some have replaced the Bulb and/or the Bulb Housing.

You can buy the bumper at your MINI dealer .
It's the JCW Aero Kit bumper.

I don't want to spend stealership prices. But I would like to price it out do you know a website that might have it?

and my car is down for a while..overheated pretty bad..dealer said i need a new motor..i think it might be a partial load of BS to get some more money..im going to do a compression test and then yank the head to see what im dealing with..

anyone ever swap one of these from auto to manual? i may do this while the car is all taken apart..i know ill probably need a new engine computer, as well as all the linkages and everything..would i need a new BCM?

another thought is i might fix it then sell it..then search for something else..

Has anyone ever blacked out the area around the lower grille? I'm wondering what that would look like...

...I've also wondered how that would look, ..it would give the lower grille the appearance of same size as upper...

..plan on ordering a roll of matte black vinyl to redo my chrome trim anyway.
..after that project is done...may toy around with doing that low grille area.

was bored... heres a quick ps i did.

i think it looks better if the black trim is painted because it needs contrast, otherwise it bleeds into the trim and looks awkward.

Thanks for the ps, corin. As I started to picture it myself (without your ps) I kinda came to the same conclusion... I'm not sure it's a complete deal breaker, but not ideal. Have to think about it more.

whats good is that it doesnt look half bad either way you go. but if you do just do the black out... that would almost push me to paint the arches just because it loooks that much cleaner.

Thanks for the smile. The MINI outclassed both cars. Easily.
