Googlye Eyes...

I thought someone in this Thread had put some Googly Eyes on their "Cooper", where the OO's become Eyes?? I had bought some Googly Eyes from Michael's but both packages I bought the Eyes were to big, so I was wondering if someone had done it and what size Eyes did they use??

Put the link of the image between

You usually can't use pictures off of facebook unless it's linked directly to the photo.

Took a few pictures recently. The biggest change is the roof racks... not sure if I've posted the Cooper S front bumper before.

Everything goes in cycles and the nature of modding is to not be satisfied with what you got with the car, but to get what you don't have, so the car becomes your own. On Harley's everyone wanted their bikes slathered in chrome, then when HD started putting all that chrome on the higher-end models, everyone wanted the blacked out/stealth look. Then HD came out with a series of matte black bikes...

Same thing with signal lenses on cars. Used to be only red in the US. The "Euro" look was amber turn signals. Then people wanted clear with colored bulbs. When the dealers supply those as stock, people will want all red again.

A little late I know but I'm curious as to how much the Cooper S Bumper was, including Paint costs.
Thanks!!

I can't say for sure because I got it as a result of fender bender. Probably the cheapest way to go to the Cooper S bumper would be to buy one off of someone who switched to the JCW kit and has all the grills and trim included. Then, you just get it resprayed OB.

Yeah, that would definitely go with the black headlight rings better!

Once that’s done, that MINI’s outa sight! Great looking car - what are the specs on those wheels/tires and what are you lowered on?

I’ve always wanted to go to 215’s. But my tire guy gets all nervous and always talks me out of it. I like how they poke out a little.

While doing the joey mod, you should remove the orange indicator lenses and put some bulbs in Silver to avoid the awful orangeness

I'm still waiting for some good weather and clean this thing up, but I'm pretty happy with my winter wheels now that they're black.

Thanks! I still can't believe that when I configured the car, black wheels were not even on my radar screen.

Well, they weren't available from the factory in black until March of 2009, if I remember correctly.
