I would guess there is easily another 20whp in the engine. Going to make a few tweaks on some of the parts on there now.
Going to work on the intake runner length and header sizing

That is just amazing. I honestly would love to have an NA putting down that much power.
Great Job Jan.

the 15hp/8 ft lb gain shown in the dyno graph was a custom CAI that was fabbed in about 30 seconds from dryer vent hose
now that we have the right length to stop the resonance we will be able to tune for even more power. Notice how it smoothed out the graph!

I wonder what it run
That trq wont break your driveshafts
Kewl work Jan and crew, have you got a stock Cooper dyno graph that you could overlay the two, I think that would be more of a
for everyone

Doooh, I know that, but as its sitting in a redundent drag car it would be rude not to see what it would do

For a comparison Paul, my stock 2 liter Honda S2000 put down 212 hub hp on the same dyno. So it is reasonable to estimate that the Mini is putting down 230+ at the crank.

THIS is what I was waiting for
But, realistically, I won't be able to afford the stroker, so Jan, do you think the camshaft and header might be used on a 1.6 NA too, or will you develop new ones? Also, an intake manifold might be interesting, considering how crappy the stock one is...

Great numbers Jan. Would love to have one down the road, $$$ but like MINIdriver85 I might could actually swing for some bolt on parts sooner..
With those numbers probably need to upgrade the tranny??
