'06 R50 Cooper DIY Splitter

Well I started with Denis' (MC2) splitter template only to find it didn't fit my 2006 Cooper. So I scrapped his and decided to start my own from scratch. So after weeks of trying to find the time, I was finally able to measure and make a computer model for it. It is made from ABS and CNC cut so that the holes line up correctly. I had to fabricate and weld my own turnbuckle rod ends. Went with the 'no holes in bumper' look at the request of my gf.

Looks awesome. Nice detail on the splitter center & mounts. Looks like a lot of hard work went into it.

thanks for the kind words! i'd have to figure out what shipping costs would be before i came up with a price. finding time is the hardest part!

Looks good, what ABS did you use and where did you buy it? Also, is that 1/4 inch thick?
