I paid around $100 used for my S skirts. It all depends on who is selling them and i think mine included the shipping. Can't remember though.

On the cooper non-S, can I reuse the mounting hardware for the install of the cooperS side skirts? Or are they different or nonremovable?

Some of them may have broken if the parts were previously used and removed.....but if they arent broken you can re-use them

you can reuse the clips that go vertically into the body. the clips that go horizontally into the body must be snapped/broken off in order to remove your old skirts.

Does anybody know where some instructions are to do this. Bentley just points out where the clips are, under the body.

Or is it so easy that it doesn't require any?

OK, I give up on searching here. Does anyone have instructions on removing and installing the side skirts? I bought a set of "S" skirts and want to install them on my MC.

Any help is appreciated.

this is from memory:
removing skirt:
there are clips under the body, remove those. clips under the sill plate, remove the sill plate and the clips. lastly, yank that mo'fo' off, it'll seem scary but your basically gonna break off all the clips that go into the body horizontally.

reinstall with your new clips. start with the horizontal ones, then do the top, then the bottom.

do a search on motoringfile.com for aerokit install, that file will have the "how to remove" the "how to install" will be for the aero skirt but you'll have an idea of what to do from that portion as well.

Thanks for the help. Do you remember how many clips I will need to buy to replace the broken ones?

no sir, i do not. when you go to the parts dept have a look on their screen or take a look on realoem.com. you'll need the clips that go in horizontally

I finally got around installing my S skirts. I had to buy all the clips. The issue is the S skirt dont fit right. There are gaps where they meet the fender skirts. Is there somthing I need to do to adjust, or do I have to replace the fender skirts too?
