Let me introduce myself and my 1970 Cooper S

Hello out there! I'm new here, and this is my new purchase! I'm sure I'll be asking you all a lot of questions as time goes by, as I have a lot to learn about keeping this guy in top shape! This is "Biz"... he's a 1970 Cooper S that's just been fully restored to orrigional specs. I've had him about a month now... and having so much fun!!!!!!!!

no, no, no... hopefully Biz will never see rain. Only goes out on nice days. Just had a great 3-day weekend... sunshine all 'round! So he stretched his legs a lot. Wouldn't want to mess up his underside, which looks like this...

Nice ... but it needs bonnet stripes

Note that there is a specific Classic Mini forum here on NAM; people there will likely have more knowledge to answer any questions you have.

Biz is beautiful, Monalisa! That undercarriage shot is a naughty, but gorgeous, piccie!

You posted this in MINI Talk, which is for discussions about the New MINI. I am going to move your thread to Classic Mini Talk, which is for discussing classic Minis.

Enjoy the site and a big welcome to NAM!

Thanx for moving me, Clover. I realized I was in the wrong place after posting... couldn't figure out how to relocate.

NO bonnet stripes!!!!!!!!!!! Biz didn't have them when he first came out of the shop 36 years ago... so he won't have them now!!! The ONLY thing on this car that differs from the 1970 specs are the seatbelts. He's a pure classic, and gonna stay that way!
