Another Mini

I have had the Van for years. It was my second mini and has many of the Cooper S bits off my first rusted Fred Flintstone Mini.

Interesting perspective. It looks smaller than it really is. Stately black. I like it.

Well, after a few weeks of work, pulling motor, sanding off all the paint with exception of doors/boot lid. I have decided this project is cancer ridden and will take more time and money than I care to provide it. So with that being said I am going to sell any and or all of the pieces to this lil gem. If anyone needs any parts shoot me an email and I will do my best to send a photo and description.
You can see more pics in my Gallery at restorationmini.com
Thanks

It looks great. Congrats! I love the 10" GBs. Did you buy abroad and have it shipped back?

The whole reason we are waiting for the title is cause of the VIN. The woman we are buying it through is being run through the ringer cause it's a 13 digit vin. Anyways. it's not "officially" ours yet, but we are the only people she is willing to sell it too. We "should" be getting the title sometime this week, at least that's what the DMV said to her. If not this week then next week at the latest. Im really hoping for this week.

Be careful and make sure her DMV headache doesn't become yours as well. Once she has a clear title and registration from her state, you should have a simple transaction and registration process yourself.

I tried to buy an '83 out of Florida - it should have gone thru with no issues, but after about 4 months of waiting, we mutually canceled the deal.

Hope you get it resolved......quickly.

I haven't been on NAM in a few years (work/life/etc), but I'm so happy to say I'm back and I picked up a classic last week! I wanted one for a really long time, and things just happened to fall in place last week. Looking forward to talking to some of you in the forums (I already see two other classic threads I need to jump into!)

This is as-is, no work/changes to it yet.

OH, I'm looking for another and trying to sell this one if anyone is interested or trade. See it here www.restorationmini.com in the Gallery
I also have a 2007 Suzuki Kingquad 700cc 4x4 all stock in very good condition I'd like to swap if anyone is interested. I'm looking for a nice daily or weekend driver that doesn't need so much attention.
