I drive it around town as much as I possibly can! When it's nice out, it's my daily driver. When it's winter, she's in storage.
The handling got so out of whack during the engine conversion that I find the more I drive it, the better I can feel what's wrong and figure out how to fix it. I don't mind the bone-jarring ride. Much.
Regarding the rollcage thing, I have big foam smooshies on the rollbar next to where people's heads or knees might bonk. Still doesn't feel good, cause it's not SOFT, but it's not killer like the steel of the cage.

Good call. That's what we did on the roll cage in my brother's old jeep. It's still not gonna feel good to hit your head on it in an accident, but it just may save the large cuts and bumps.
@tehSAC: there are a bunch of people who sell them or build them custom for you. The one I got is from Minitec. You can get a bunch of information on vtec conversion kits at 16vminiclub.com and vtecminis.com.
@MNIxB: thanks! We had fun but felt really self conscious doing that stuff...
Batman. I like the car. I see it's a new addition? I'm on minimania as well. If you're getting rid of some parts, I may be interested in taking them off your hands. (cluster and some other things you listed) PM me if you are in fact going to get rid of some things, and what exactly you're parting with.
