You say you have a classic Mini? PROVE IT!
Wow, a lot of nice Mini's on here. I'll have mine paid off in about a month, maybe sooner. I bought a set of 13's before I was able to really appreciate the 10 inch wheels. Mamba's are my favorite. I love the Rally look, the Roof rack just says Roadtrip all over it.
Unfortunately all mine are disassembled;
I have my early one which I am trying to get rid of the shell... It is full original main floor and I replaced the boot floor

I have the mk2 wagon that I am hoping to transform into a replica of a pickup out of repro pup panels. Working on finishing the floor to put in it currently.

I have my mk4 van, which I am going to steal it's load floor from to put in the previous car.. and put the estate load floor into the van so it has more sensible storage of things like the spare tire.

And finally I have my newest one which is likely not got long to live as I repair it's floor and then remove it the bulkhead and the front and put it on the van... it only cost $275ish so not a big loss, there are lots of mk4 shells out there.

How do you like the 048Rs? I thought about getting them since I drive my car somewhat regularly and take it to the track a few times a year. That would be a good compromise to a 2nd set of wheels with slicks.

I really like these tires. They offer more than enough grip for street use but are also excellent for competition use. I would say these tires would probably last for a decent length of time given what they are if they didn't see that much track time and street abuse. This would be a good substitute for a wheel swap, and I believe GB Carparts stock them here in the states (Florida). For me, they won't last long as there are 3 people autocrossing my mini and two that drive it frequently on the street.
My yellow thing
here's mine, a 1978 British Leyland that I bought in August 2011. I am currently fixing the underside. I don't have a name for it yet

Hey all,
So here is mine. I got it the fall of 2010. Been a hoot, and not much work. It has an oil leak that needs fixing I think this spring...
It's a 1995 1275 SPI Monte Carlo RHD I imported from Japan.

Some may recognize the picture. I'll get some new ones up too...

I was there that day! In fact, if you could pan the picture further to the right, you'd see my car - ha, ha LOL!
Winston is a beauty!

Purchased her this year out of Canada and it was an eye-opening experience as to the shady side of buying and selling classic minis. Buyer beware for anyone getting into these cars for the first time. Here's mine and going under some renovations soon.
