Morris Minor-Want to purchase

I am looking to purchase a Morris Minor here in the U.S., and am having much difficulty locating cars for sale. Does anyone have any info where to purchase these vehicles? I have found one website , www.Turkys.com in S.C., but do not know anything about this dealer. I would appreciate if anyone could help direct me as to where I may find a Morris Minor? Thanks...

If you want to purchase one, I'm not sure I can help. But if you want a couple (one being a split-windshield convertible, the other a '67 convertible). I gave them away 4 years ago & last I knew they are still there. Neither runs naturally. namwob@ev1.net

From what I have read online, Turkys has a good reputation.

You really have to keep your eyes open, or the good ones will slip right by and be scooped up by somebody else.

I'd been drooling over Rick Anderson's Mini for a long time - - didn't even know that it was on the market until he posted that it was sold. If I'd had my eyes peeled, then he would have gotten $1.5K more than he did get.

Morris Minor

Contact gil.mackenzie@4s.com and ask him if he still has his MM for sale. It's a project, but it's a convertible. He also has a midget 1275 engine & drive train if you wish to upgrade. You might also check on eBay motors. There was a pretty nice looking gray one recently that was 4 sale. When you find one, then let me know and I'll sell you all kind of books that I have on MM's from service manuals to restoration books.

Are you looking for a turn key or a project car?

turn keys are project cars that run, but, need nearly as much work as "project cars" but cost way more.

Actually, I am looking for a turn key car. I was hoping to find one pretty much restored, a driver, and also to take to some local shows. Still looking...

I know this post is many months old. But In my searching for an older car for a project, I came across this little jewel. Doesnt interest me but maybe someone else? It is in Maine. Scroll down the page a bit.
I am not responsible or tied to this seller in any way. Just something I ran into.

Morris Minor Woody Station Wagon, NOT running,

motor needs to be put back in, needs restoration

$3,800.00http://http://www.championautomaine.com/secondpage.html

1953 Morris Minor convert 4 sale

I don't know which model of Minor you're looking for, but I've got a 1953 Split window convertible. Rebuilt 948, original grey paint , except for hood and bonnet have been painted black, for 2-tone effect I presume. Car is RHD, and is an roginal trafficator car, but now has operating blinkers. It drives, but needs a new brake master cylinder. I'm located in Northern Illinois, and I'm asking $2,800 Pics are posted at: http://photos.yahoo.com/photomike64
