I have never heard a bad word about Miniguy in CA (other than from a NC dealer who seems to have an axe to grind with everyone)

I might suggest Dian Jardine at DJMINIS.com or Alistair at westpaminis.com also.

Search listings at Vancouver British Mini Club website and Minicityltd.com also.

GOMINI will require some background research. Try Minimania.com and do a 365 day search. Again you'll hear crap from the NC dealer, but there has been some controversy (?) about them.

No matter what CAVEAT EMPTOR. If you're buying inspect in person & get it all in writing in case there's issues later. Remember a used Mini dealer is a USED CAR DEALER.

Minimad is spot on !! Go over to the Mini Mania board. Do a 365 day search for anyone you are interested in. Search by user name except for Gomini. You may e-mail me about that one if you wish.

Michael Lewis is Miniguy
Bill *** is Werewolf or Bluegoose
Alistair is a great east coast dealer
Where are you located?? A private seller may be a better choice.

I agree with the above posts. BC/Wherewolf/Bluegoose/Montecarlominis (and/or whatever other name he is using at the moment) is nothing but a trouble maker. Ignore his posts about other dealers. I can tell you that Michael Lewis AKA Miniguy is a top shelf honest guy and I personally wouldn't hesitate buying a car from him sight unseen. With that being said, you should inspect any Mini that you do buy from anybody in person. Also contact www.heritagegarage.com in California for higher end and super good quality cars. They do not advertise on their website, so give them a call.

I live on Southern Cali. I am considering the purchase of a classic Mini. If I do get one I want one that is at least 90% done.

Craig, I have a classic (59 Morris Mini) for sale. It's a complete ground up restoration built to Cooper S specs. It's not cheap but it is fairly priced for all that's been done to it. email me if you're interested.

Mark. mrw@swcp.com

PS, I'm in New Mexico.

Hey Midlifecrisis2,

have you been to Miniguy's showroom. He is pretty good about letting people take the cars out for a day. I also have a classic for sale:
