hey guys, well i got rid of my 2005 mcs.... , but i picked up a 1970 morris mini, white with a black roof, and black stripes, just basically restored...it's pretty bare, i have to put in an audio system, and i'm thinking about doing a v-tec swap, or turbo'ing it....regardless...i've seen the mini heritage video on miniusa.com a thousand times lol....does anyone have any other good videos of classics racing? or know any websites?

 

You could try Mini City Ltd and Mini Mania - they both used to carry a few vidios ... and EWA Cars has books, models, and vidios too! ... have a look here :

There is a company in the UK that is doing a reasonably priced supercharger conversion using the new MINI S compressor. I am thinking about doing that conversion myself for my '68. check Minimania's message board for the Vtec kit. Steve alexander is doing a bolt-on subframe for the mini that does not require modifications to the bodywork (most conversions require you to extend the front by 100mm).

 

Sorry you had to part with your 05 but congrats on your 70. I've got both ('02 & '60) and love em'... here's one of them.
