There are tons of busier classic Mini sites out there, I'd take a look at www.minimania.com

I'm not too well versed in the classic mini's but I think thats a good place to start your search.

Check Miniguy.com located in Calif. Also as mentioned check the Mini Mania site and check the cars for sale section but do alot of research before buying from some of the so called classic Mini dealers.

There are many Classic Mini owners in AZ. I believe there is a guy in Tucson that has some for sale he just brought in from down under. Also another guy in Prescott has one for sale. They are here in Az, just have to look for them. We don't drive ours that much in the summer time, too hot! But in the winter we go all over the state.

Minipixie,

Your best bet might be to bring one with you. If the vehicle is older than 25 years (1979 by current calculations) it can be imported into the USA under an EPA and DOT exemption, meaning it doesn't have to be modified for either US emissions or safety bumper requirements. Look into it before you go, shipment to the East coast should be under $1,000 and it's a nice leisurely drive of about a week to AZ.

Hi! I have been a Mini Classic owner here in Tucson since 1969. I have had three before my current 2002 MCS. They can be found here. More and more are RHD meaning they have rust from being in the UK. Most native Minis in AZ DO NOT HAVE RUST. Mine first car (I wish I still had!) was a 1960 Morris 850 (light body) sold here in 1960 with no. Dave Vizard use to work here and come to our British car meetings in the '70's. We have a big Britsh care group in Tucson, Tucson British Car Register.
