I got my rear sway bar on last night. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I just need to modify the exhaust a bit and then make the adjustments.

LIL PIGG; abt yr overheating...

What radiator's in it now? I put in a new "HD" radiator from Seven and my mini is fine, though it is still in relatively mild tune. Also saw a nice alloy rad in a car at the Hellertown show that the owner said he got on eBay for $100 brand new.

Have fun setting up the 123. I wish they had located the setting switch a bit more conveniently.

I have a two row stock radiator in it but my engine has been modified a bit. I put a electric fan in the left fender well and it helps a bunch. Its really not a issue execpt when I get stuck at five really long traffic lights in a row then it gets warm. I am thinking of putting a small four inch fan just behind the grill to bring in fresh air. This is just a test for now and a quick fix.

I am sure the 123 needs tweaked a bit but its a pain to keep pulling it out. Long story short I had issues with what the previous owner did and I am fixing things. I had pinging issues with the old Dissy and right now the car runs great with the 123. So I don't want to mess with it to much more since I am running out of time for MME. I am driving the car and I put in a lot of test miles on the car and don't have much more time to test it after making adjustments.

see you at MME, who ever is going

overheating

Both my bugeye and my mini benefitted greatly from bigger/better radiators, and it's certainly the easiest way to go, too. Make sure you have the right fan, and maybe an electric for traffic if that doesn't solve it.

I have no idea why they didn't just put the adjuster on the outside. Maybe cover it with a nice plug so it doesn't get messed with.

I have the topical fan for the radiator. I thought about a bigger radiator but it is tight in there. I am sure If i spend the time with the 123 I can get the temp down a bit. just need to tweak it a bit here and there and after awhile it should be fine.

Didn't do all that much.....mechanically anyway.....another car show tonight so spent time cleaning Maxfield....he got caught in the rain and he was a little messy...............Mechanically, had to tighten up the exhaust tailpipe to exhaust manifold clams....hummmmm still not quite right, but hey they are together and not dragging where they shouldn't be....

Went out for a nice drive in the country since this was the first nice weekend day we've had in a while weatherwise. Parked behind a Clubman and talked to the owner for a bit. Inflated all the tires to 30 psi, and removed last years' registration sticker and put this years' on. Mechanicals all behaved themselves today, so no work needed under the bonnet.
